2009 TSUN arguments, shenanigans (not football)

I think Tate is a good prospect. I don't think he's a great one, and if he gets injured and denard comes in and tears it up on the ground, I'm not sure if he remains the starter once he's healthy. Which takes me to my next point.

no, because I need someone who is going to stay if he's not starting after a few years.
I have some questions about um's offense and am skeptical about some personnel (ie the OL has been annointed as a deep, good unit before proving itself as either)... But I think they'll put up points over the years.

The criticism most of us hold - and the key to rr's success at um - is defense. The execution and recruiting is not how it should be.
All time - UM leads 57-42-6
Largest victory, UM - 86 OSU - 0

(whoops, how did that slip in there?)
let's clear up the purpose of this thread. The tsun thread was extremely popular, for news, debate, entertainment and tomfoolery. It got to the point where we needed a football/news thread and a thread for all of the arguments, shenanigans and other off topic rabbit trails.

This thread does not serve as a place for smack talk back and forth (its still a Buckeye board, which doesn't permit visitors to troll, just like um boards)
. Conversely, the other thread provides a place to talk football and hold a civil debate... Which is as much for our own fans as our quality visitors.

The same rules still apply, we've just split them off.

Ohio State is 25-23-2 against TSUN during the last fifty years, including the Cooper era. Let's see, in which stage of grief are you?

(edit) whoops sorry, just read J's post

Even before you edited, if you really want to compare football in 1902 to football in 2008...well, your cred might just get shot to hell. That isn't even good smack...its weak at best and honestly, well...reeking of desperation.

But anyway...

This is where folks:

- post mockery (photoshopped pics, links to foolish um fan posts, etc )

- argue till they are blue in the face about slots, barwis, family values, etc...

- reference qbforce.com

- end up if the tsun thread needs a split

That way the news thread doesn't grow by 2 (or 20) pages in a day with nothing of substance.

I had brunch today in Ann Arbor...wearing my OSU shirt and hat, of course. Talk about arrogant little pricks,

They labeled Pryor as a "semi-bust"...yet TaterTot is a proven quarterback. Huh ? End of friendly conversation.

I have always respected Michigan a lot for the quality of their program. I've lived up here going on 3 seasons now and I fail to see much more than a fanbase consisting of 2 totally divergent segments: blue collar UAW members and ivy league wannabees. It seems...but certainly not scientifically proven...that the average UM fan from years gone by were simply folks that liked college football and UM was by far the best program in Michigan.

After having lived in both Columbus and Ann Arbor, there is no comparison to the pagaentry of Columbus as it regards college football. Ann Arbor is a nothing more than a college town with a fine university full of non-Michiganders who know very little about BigTen Football.

i'll be interested to hear just what Feagin did to get kicked off the team. This will show just what kind of disciplinarian RR is.
