2009 TSUN arguments, shenanigans (not football)

I made the mistake in mid 2006 of wishing the Gators well because of how much it meant to the little neighbor boy and because it seemed they could never do us any harm. How we lookin now on that particular bit of brilliance on my part? :(
If your telepathic and karmic powers actually hold that much sway over events in the sports universe, would you please stop insisting the Reds suck every year in March?

See thats the problem, I've only got so much power and I've been focusing on the whole "Jessica Alba at my door with my wife's life insurance check" fantasy since 1999 so you do the math.

One of these years I'm going to have to give up on Ms. Alba and see what I can do about those fucktards in Cincy.

... then here's another one you'll like from ESPN/Adam Rittenberg's blog.

A look back at the Big Ten annual stat leaders - Big Ten - ESPN

These are the conference teams that led each major given statistical category within the conference from 2004-2008:

I did not personally verify these, but according to Rittenberg's list, only two teams have not lead the conference in any of these major categories over the previous five years: Michigan and Indiana.

The leaders and the best?

I think you have a better shot at Ms. Alba than making the Reds competent.

Did I say all the players don't like him? Did I say all the alumni don't like him? Did I say all the people inside the AD don't like him? No.

But don't kid yourself, some players don't like him, some alumni don't like him, and some inside the AD don't like him.

How else would this have come out? The football program used to be an impenetrable fort. NOTHING got out that UM didn't want to give out. Now, things are leaking like out like a ship going down.

People are talking. That never happened before.

And I just watched the press conference again and it was such an act. The pause, the head down, the heavy sigh, I like RR just won a Razzie Award for that performance.

What a joke. He cried. He flippin' cried. That looks real good. The head coach of the University of Michigan crying at a press conference. Nice.

We warned them about the crying. :slappy:

Re:Lloyd Carr Speaks...Kind Of - 1 day and 8 hrs. ago ( #40 )

As for the comments about the 06 games. That game was played on a level that is and probably will never be touched again. Like in most close games, a couple of plays decided the game. I'm a big proponent that if it weren't for the late hit, we would have won the game. To this day... I think the call was complete BS, you don't make a call like that at the end of a game. If Crable would have let up, it would have been much easier for Smith to throw the ball. It was one of the worst calls I have ever seen.

You don't make a subjective call like that at the end of a game... terrible call!

We should have witnessed a rematch

go blue!

Um, it was a clear cut personal foul, genius. Those rules are put in place to protect the players. "One of the worst calls you have ever seen"? :roll1:
