An expression that was used more with Urban than with Hot Rod, though it, ironically, was more relevant to the latter.NFBuck;1497795; said:He could have slowly introduced his system, which most coaches do (see Urban) until he got the personnel he needed, but he decided to try to pound square pegs into round holes. It was glorious.
hey.....now you're starting to sound very foolish.Florida? Clemson?
Sorry, but Orange does not belong with Blue or Purple. It is like both schools drew crayons out of a hat to define their school colors.
The others are not so bad, but those two are just...........ugh!!!
Forcier was "a much more highly sought after high school recruit" than Threet? By what measure? Forcier's published offer list is probably a bit better than Threet's, but not by much, and their rankings by the commercial services were virtually identical (both 4*'s, with near-identical position rankings). I think it would be more accurate to say that Forcier was a slightly more sought after H.S. recruit than Threet. Further, I think it would be accurate to say that many of the UM fans who now view Threet as having been a 2nd-tier prospect and clearly a poor fit for Rodriguez's offense, were not nearly as pessimistic about his suitability a year ago (Jax echo).mh20;1497605; said:Tate...was a much more highly sought after high school recruit than either Sheridan or Threet.

To be fair, I think most thought of Threet as a bridge to their messiah at the time...Kevin Newsome. They expected him to be pretty good, certainly not as comically bad as that two headed monster turned out, but I don't recall many being too high on either Threet or Sheridan.zincfinger;1498213; said:Forcier was "a much more highly sought after high school recruit" than Threet?
