In fact, we have so many needs that we won't be drafting anyone this year. Because, regardless of who we pick, we will have bigger needs elsewhere. :moo:LitlBuck;1403433; said:This is Al Lerner and I just want to make an announcement that I have just fired my GM:! along with Mangin:tongue2:. Nothing against Mr. Wells:) talents but we have bigger needs on the defensive side of the ball.
I thought only Al was known for afternoon naps...Tom Cable;1403435; said:No old man, I'm not taking Maclin. Now go put on a clean Depends because I'm almost ready to make a pick. This is my show now, old man river.
If it's not an OT then I'm holding my breath and stomping on the ground.C'mon Raiders - Just take Ray M and get it over with

Just like our man Mike Mayock, we have Jason Smith as the best tackle available. He's quick, strong and plays with an attitiude. We love his pass blocking and we'll show him the ropes for our zone blocking. We love his size, not too big and not too small. We love his athleticism, since he was a tight end as a freshman.
We never seriously thought of a defensive player since we felt that any of the 3 OT's were worthy of being picked here, it just so happens that Jason was our top rated of the three. We're extremely happy with the pick.
