What is scUM's obsession with goofy looking quarterbacks? Forcier has freakin Dolphin Teeth.

- Terrell Pryor was paid by OSU to come here. Of course.....this is totally related.

You are ignoring their indisputable evidence. Those in the know about what really happened are "staying tight-lipped" - i.e. nobody saying he was paid is evidence that he was.

Can't argue with that.

The other thing I have learned from reading their board is that there is a force greater than Barwis in turning players into great talents. That force is the decommit of a player at the same position. Suddenly Forcier is the only savior they need.

Keep in mind that UM fans are blaming this season's implosion almost exclusively on the solitary issue that they lack a QB who can run the new system. Now it is in the hands of the smallest QB prospect in Scout's top 38. Big Ten contact will not be an issue for a kid 6'0" and 183 - just ask McGuffie. And a true Frosh to boot.

But the real silver lining to the Beaver decommit is that it strengthens their position with Devin Gardner in 2010. So the clock for RR "turning the program around" (UM fans continue to miss the fact that RR has already turned their program around once) gets reset to his third - or more realistically fourth - season at the helm.

RR is the gift that keeps on giving.

Beaver scared of competition?

ESPN - Tulsa Golden Hurricane Football Recruiting 2009

The 6-foot-3, 179-pounder added, "The coaches told me I could compete right away. No offense to (Tulsa quarterbacks Jacob) Bower and GJ Kinne, but they're going to have to fight every single day because I like to fight every single day."
Doesn't sound like it.....if anything there may be more to be "scared" of in that regard at Tulsa than Michigan.

To be honest, the more I hear UM fans say they really don't want beaver the more it reinforces a long held suspicion.

The spin-meister named Tom Beaver on one of their boards is enough for me to say that Beaver leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

But, unlike those TSUN fans you're referring to, not enough to make me swear off beaver completely.

there is a MUCH BETTER chance for Beaver to make it to the NFL playing in Tulsa's system compared to Rich Rods....have any Michigan fans admitted that to themselves yet?

Why play in Rich Rod's offense if you want to play on Sundays?? His track record clearly shows he doesn't do that.

I was curious what RR would be able to do with the recruiting "advantage" he had in the absence of a bowl game. While all (and I mean ALL) other major programs are distracted by practice and game planning RR can concentrate solely on attracting the best and brightest to UM.

So much for that theory.

(Of course, Tulsa doesn't play till January 6th, so maybe their coach isn't focused on the Bowl game just yet.)
