This is exactly what I keep coming back to. "Just wait to see what he can do with the Michigan name!!" "He succeeded at WVU so just wait until he has a roster of 5 star recruits."

He ain't gonna get those 5 star recruits.

What QB with any hope of going to the NFL someday is going to come in and play in this system? Why would they? It's NFL draft suicide. Why would an O lineman with any dreams of playing on Sundays go into that system? Name me a WVU offensive lineman in the league. Can't do it? That's because there aren't any.

Pat White is one of the better option QBs in recent memory and he won't get drafted. If he does it's going to be as a return man.

Actually, right now, I hear a lot of projections with him going in the 3rd round (-ish). You are correct though, not as a QB; most think he'll move to WR.

I would not be surprised at all to see a big time recruit come in this year (in addition to Tate). I bet the Beaver just got word of another commit and decided he was not wanting to redshirt so he was better off leaving.

I just love how far some fans go with their blind loyalty to Richie. A big time recruit decommits and some say, "oh, well it must be b/c Richie has an even better recruit and he told Beaver about him!" It couldn't be that the kid looked at Michigan and realized it was not the place for him?

All of us would go play for Michigan whether they had just gone 12-0 or 0-12 but these kids whoa re 4 and 5 star guys they don't have those same feelings. Some of them do for sure, but others and thinking which school gives me the best shot to be playing on Sundays in 3 years.

My biggest problem with the dip[censored] is that he tries to insinuate that Tressel and OSU boosters bribe Ginn Sr. to get Glenville recruits. And he does this by dropping hints about what his people in the area 'heard' about this situation. If he had a pair of balls he would've accused Tressel directly but he's too chicken[censored] to stand by accusations that he understands full-well have no factual basis.

For the record, I got banned from Stadium and Main back in '06 for calling scum posters shameful for demanding a rematch in the title game.

We really ought to have a list of what gets/got BP posters banned from S&M.
I remember they did a wholesale burn down of any and all OSUcentric posters declining to anoint RR as the incoming TSUN savior in the weeks following his hiring.
Everyone (TSUN or Buckeye or WVU) had to re-register, and there were complaints on other boards that IP-bans were clearly invoked.

Back on Son"O"JodrellBank - the amazing thing is that till really quite recently he was nothing more than a prolific poster with a schtick on S&M. Not sure why they elected him as a gatekeeper, but, I'm guessing they were light on willing hands to police the stew. I mean, who'd really want to moderate a Scout board, any Scout board, really, who?

My memory is that he's been a mod over there for at least a couple of years. He wasn't actually the one who banned me. The other dip[censored] Tom Beaver actually pulled the trigger.

the beaver took me out as well.

i made a comment that he should throw out the proof about osu paying pryor if he wanted to be credible. his response was that he didn't need to show any further proof and he didn't need any further reason to ban me.

the nd scout board still takes the cake. baumhower banned me for calling the nd board a trainwreck on the osu freed board.

He tried once to give details and failed miserably. The gbw board was groaning about all of OSU's recruiting success/momentum (which coincided with RR's staff hardly recruiting at all the first few months), which came to a head with the OSU spring game.

He gave excuses that of course the other recruits will be impressed by Terrelle bombing around in his silver Mercedes. Hinyg8 challenged on this to provide some evidence and was banned because of it, and Tom was emphatic that he was seen there in it. Too bad for tom, many fans (even of other fanbases) and recruits saw Terrelle there in his HS position coach's car, who drove his guys out there from Jeannette.

BJ Daniels was bought away from RR too, and other than Will Campbell (who they expect to land), all of the decommitments leave him ambivalent, because they weren't supers and can be replaced. Newsome, McNeal, Fera were all top guys on their lists. Forcier might succeed but is not a Newsome replacement, Cameron Gordon is not a McNeal replacement, and they don't have another kicker (especially one on par with Fera).

Their fanbase is in denial. They actually believe that their defense will be better. They blame SS for everything. The truth is they didn't have any depth and their best players were on the D-line. Their back 7 minus Ezeh and Warren sucked. Their D-line is gone!!!

Barwis...Barwis...Barwis...GMAFB...every major DIV 1 program has an awesome S&C program. Being fast an athletic is great but if your out of position on defense it doesn't matter. If football was all about athleticism guys like Tyson Gay and Usain Bolt would play in the NFL. Their fanbase needs to wake up.

The truth is they will lose more commits. They are starting to offer MAC kids. I know stars don't mean anything but I think the trend is very telling.

I'm just pissed that Beaver didn't wait till another 4* prospect ditched TSUN. Had he done so, with McNeal, Barnes, campbell, Newsome and the unknown 4* they could have sung Beaver's departure to the tune of Gene Pitney's old standard - only 24 stars to Tulsa.

The fact that Beaver is on the Scout payroll and can sling those kind of accusations with zero accountability is ridiculous. The guy is a joke. When things don't go his way, he makes excuses and hurls accusations of impropriety. Atleast Bank and Nevada take ownership and accountability when they "miss".
