Tim Tebow and Harvin would have to be hurt for that happen. Unless you think Petrino turns Casey Dick into a Stefan Lefors/Brian Brohm clone.
Some of it is mojo and gut feel, but we have struggled there the last couple times, and their offense should give our shakey safeties and corners problems in a relatively early away game.

I dunno Dayton, it's just a feeling I have. :(

Auburn freshman Furr leaves team

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- Auburn freshman safety DeRon Furr has left the team after two positions switches and a recent practice scuffle.
Coach Tommy Tuberville said Tuesday that Furr was leaving the team.

The coach didn't give a reason for the player's decision.

Furr enrolled in January and went through most of spring practice at quarterback, his high school position. He spent the final spring practice at receiver and moved to defensive back over the summer for a better shot at playing time.

Cont'd ...

Casey Dick is nothing to be afraid of with no Jones and the Irishman. HR Purnstuf could be the coach with Teddy Ruxpin could be OC and Florida would be fine.

Kentucky should have a good defense this year. If Hartline can do anything at QB they should be able to get to a bowl game. Myron Pryor and Jeremy Jarmon are 2 pretty good defensive lineman. Marcus McClinton looked one of the better safetys in the SEC last year. I think their defense can keep them in some games and if the offense is any good they could pull upset or two a la last season.

Gator, this is by far, the most ridiculous thing I've seen out of you...am I missing the sarcasm?

Arkansas won't keep it within 17 points, and they'll be lucky to do that. UF's offense might be the best in the country, and their defense can only get better.

Arkansas lost McFadden and Felix....not that you need to be told that. And their starting QB is Casey Dick.

I had to of missed the sarcasm.....

Nope. Not saying it's rational, but I felt this way in year's past when we lost to Miss St. and Old Mrs. and everybody told me I was nuts too.

A happier Gator you'll never see when I am wrong, and I will happily accept any grief you care to dish out.

Stick around. I can get ridiculouser. :tongue2:

Torn ACL is being reported for Ingram. Terrible break for him, since he came back for his 5th year.

Gatorubet, how concerned are you about Rainey's hamstring? I've read that he's sitting out practice because he's aggravated an earlier injury.

Just makes me sick. CI is one of the good guys. And don't think that other Junior stars don't look at things like this when deciding whether to stay the extra year. :shake:

I hope he had a kick ass insurance policy.

FWIW, Aaron Hernandez is a very good replacement, but CI added so much to our offense in terms of blockng, leadership, etc, in addition to his athletic abilty as a receiver. Damn. :(
