That list was compiled by a guy who constantly refers to us as the "Luckeyes". Don't expect too much love from him or CBS or anywhere else for that matter.

So two years from now, on Florida's Pro Day, he'll run the 40 so fast that he'll travel back in time and have 4 years of college eligibility remaining, and thus return to Gainesville as the starter.

That Urban Meyer is slick, he's got it all worked out. :wink2:

Tebow has run past me 14 times today already. He stopped once to slug back some gatorade, and I said "Tim, what gives?" He said "Training." I said, "Why all the way up here in Ohio?" He said, "It's not just Ohio, friend, I'm doing laps" "laps?" I questioned. "Yeah, I run around the world 20 times each morning."

I was highly impressed.

I think as impressive as the list BB73 posted of 1AA players in Heisman voting would be Randy Moss, finishing 4th in 1997 despite being a Sophomore, a WR, and '97 being Marshall's transitional year into D1A moving up from the Southern Conference the year before.

The MAC was really a joke back then, so you could say there are some D1AA players like Amanti Edwards who get more high-profile opportunities than Randy Moss ever had.

I'm not sold on Tebow repeating. If Percy remains healthy he could win it or at least steal some votes. But if we go undefeated or only lose one regular season game and also win the SEC, it is certainly possible.

Beanie Wells should have a great shot at winning it, too.

2008 Heisman List Post Them

Here is my list

1. Chris Beanie Wells

2. Chase Daniels

3. Pat White

4. Sam Bradford

5. Todd Boeckman

6. Tim Tebow

7. Juice Williams

8. Matt Grothe

9. Knowshon Moreno

10. Michael Crabtree

My list is pretty different because Wide receivers imo don't receive as much Heisman attention as do Quarterbacks and Running backs. Which explains why I put Michael Crabtree at the bottom.

Other Potential Heisman Canidates

Rudy Carpenter, Colt McCoy(Hate Longhorns), Percy Harvin, Jake Locker(was seriously impressed when I went to Washington to watch the Bucks kick some ass), Todd Reesing(really breathed some air into the Kansas Jay hawks program), Ian Johnson(im expecting a break out year for him in the WAC since it will be his last.)

Feel free to post your list's and other potential candidates who don't make your top ten... or in whatever order you want.

Someting like that. I dont think Boeckman has a great chance though becasue Wells will hopefully 1,800+ and 22 TDs.

Anybody else think Boeckman will have to put up Tebow-esque numbers to even get invited to New York? He's going to play 3rd fiddle to Beanie and Laurinaitis, and it's going to be hard to get any press without some retarded Playstation type numbers.
