no you have it wrong. Fuck penn state.I know I should probably want to see PSU win the Rose Bowl to represent the Big 10, but playing the other OSU and not USC just seems like that proves very little.

Jon Spencer: Give thanks Ohio State fell short this season
By JON SPENCER ? News Journal ? November 27, 2008
I can't speak for the rest of you having a big ol' bird thrust under your noses today, but Thanksgiving dinner seems sort of anticlimactic to me.
Didn't we get our fill of turkey last Saturday? Wasn't your appetite sated by the sight of Ohio State picking that Michigan butterball clean, clear down to the carcass? Didn't Rich Rodriguez' offense remind you of that curdled film at the top of the gravy bowl?
My stomach still hurts from trying to digest a football feast heavy on big-play heroics (no complaints), but skimped on suspense.
It's getting harder and harder to swallow Ohio State-Michigan as the grandest rivalry in sports, seeing as how it's been 20 years since it featured both teams holding up their end of the deal.
The feud has become as tepid as Browns vs. Steelers, Browns vs. Bengals, Browns vs. ... you get the point.
There's plenty, though, for which OSU fans should be thankful.
Be thankful the Buckeyes didn't win an outright Big Ten title.
Be thankful they aren't going to the Rose Bowl.
Be thankful Ohio State's next Heisman Trophy winner already has a healthy head start over the last one.

OSU doesn?t make the grade

Around most college campuses, a 10-2 record, conference championship and guaranteed New Year?s Day bowl (or better) would be reason enough to flip cars and burn couches in celebration of a job well done.
Then again, we knew long ago that Ohio State was the exception to most rules. The 35-point clubbing of Michigan was nice, as was a piece of a fourth consecutive Big Ten title. But there is no getting around the sense of disappointment that the Buckeyes didn?t advance to the national championship game for the third straight year. Or that they couldn?t become the first team in the history of the Big Ten to win a third straight outright league title.
Here are the postseason grades, position by position, on a team that was very good. It just wasn?t part of the elite.
Quarterbacks
Terrelle Pryor was handled very carefully, and as a result produced admirably. He led the Big Ten in passing efficiency, mainly because he only threw four interceptions, and he averaged 8.1 yards per attempt.
