I really don't know why anyone's concerned about Mallett. Henne will play until his arm falls off, and then he'll probably try and convince Carr to let him throw lefty. It might be true that the season will be a waste if he loses to OSU, but it will definitely be true if he doesn't even play. He'll play, and he won't be taken out at the drop of a hat like against Wisconsin. The MSU game proved he can make the throws both hurt and under pressure. I'll be very surprised if Mallett sniffs the field at all on Saturday.
Nothing could be better than a "hero" mentality out of Henne for Ohio State. If the body can't go, I don't care how much you want it. You're a liability.

Big piece on Outside the Lines that credible reports coming out of that whore that Llllloyd will retire after THE GAME.:frown2:
Pure hearsay at this point, no one on the team or staff has been told. Personally, I bet the ESPN 'sources' = mgoblog.com which is backpedaling a bit today. He's been close to retirement for years. It's a safe assumption, ut that's all it is at this point.

Many here may dislike Carr, but it's not his style to upstage his team, let alone The Game. He dislikes the attention of a simple media interview, but is going to draw this kind of attention on him before The Game? Nope.

I've been saying since this time last year that he would retire after this year. Maybe I'm their source?

if you think the only damage williams did was with his feet, then i think you're wrong. we dared him to throw TDs, and he did.
what the fuck am I even talking about though? it's michigan week. michigan sucks.
It's not too hard to throw Td passes when the receivers aren't within 15 yards of a DB. :(

ESPN doesn't run a story until it has A) been researched and found to be credible or B) takes the words of someone in an interview who is supposed to be "in the know" as factual information, whether they be the person in question or a complete moron (like MoC). If they just take pure speculation off the internet as fact, they are liable if it is proven to be false, which is why they are forced to "research" everything before they report it.

In this case, hard to know which one it would be.
