There is absolutely nothing at stake for TSUN tommorrow (except pride). regardless of the outcome, if they beat us they go to a BCS game, with no chance of BCS championship. Even if they lose both they will finish 2nd in bigten and go to capital one bowl.

I think they rest Hart, unless he is at or near 100%
I disagree completely. After their September debacle, I'd say every game means everything now.

We'd be co-champs but the "tie-breaker" goes to Michigan (winner, head-to-head) if we're both 7-1 in conference and they had beat us. We'd both be officially recognized as conference champs but Michigan would get the "bennies" of winning the tie-breaker (going to the higher bowl game).

Regardless, I'd love to Michigan lose at Wisconsin and then to us, so they have bookend 2-game losing streaks for their season.

Yeah, I know what you're saying about the BCS/Bowl game tie breakers Mili, but my point is purely about the BigTen Championship. At this point, I think that's what Michigan can only be concerned about. They have ALWAYS been a team focused on the BigTen title first and foremost. I think in many ways (over the years) that is a big difference between them and us. I would characterize the outlook of each program as this:

Ohio State: Main goal is the National Title, failing that we'd like the BigTen title.

Michigan: Main goal is the BigTen Title, beyond that everything else is gravy.

Maybe that's wrong, but that's how I've viewed to two football programs for quite some time. In any event, there is still prestige in winning the BigTen outright versus a Co-Championship. That's why I don't understand people saying Michigan doesn't have anything to play for versus Wisky.

Mainly because it's prestige on paper only. That's how I see it, anyway. Because I think you've forgotten one thing from the Michigan goal: Rose Bowl. That's the real, tangible proof of winning a Big Ten championship, and this year anyway, Michigan will go to Pasadena with either an outright or a shared championship. And we don't win either if Hart and/or Henne aggravate their injuries in Madison and can't go against OSU.

Wisconsin is going to come out fighting," [Defensive End Tim Jamison] said. "They lost a game last week they shouldn't have lost."

A Weasel saying Wisconsin is better than us?

Or maybe seeing they should have hung on when they got the lead??????????

Whoever has it in their sig "College football fans. Always searching for a lack of disrespect" has it right.

So by that logic you guys should have lost to Minnesota, Illinois, MSU and Northwestern. They each had a lead on you and failed to hang on after all.

So, a team barely ranked in the top 20 scores the go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter on the #1 team in the country that is riding a 27-game regular season and 19-game conference game win streak, it's expected for them to hold on to that lead? Uh, there's a fucking reason why the Bucks came back and eventually blew them out.

We didn't get a 28-game regular season win streak and set the all-time conference win streak record by "should've lost" to lesser teams in our house...

No I didn't forget the Rose Bowl. That's the reward for an outright Big Ten Championship (for Michigan, our reward would be BCS Title game). FWIW, I can think of a way Michigan can share the title and NOT go to the Rose bowl. Can you? Still a lot left to play for.

I guess that says all we need to know about how much of a chance HtM is giving Illinois to pull the upset.

Michigan has never won an undisputed NC in their history. I know they like to claim Bullshit titles from 1901-1904 which was awarded by the AA sports history society, billingsly, and the Harvard Historical atletic club(or whatever those guys call themselves these days.

Michigans tradition is frontloaded. When it comes to "Recognized NC" they don't have shit...two shared titles since 48...thats fucking pathetic for a school thats thinks they have the best tradition.
