No sarcasm font?

Post bookmarked.
I don't usually use it even when I mean it. For the longest time I thought the sarcasm font was the connection at work screwing up. But if it makes you happy:

[sarcasm]I don't know if you heard,[/sarcasm] but our defense is going to be [sarcasm]legendary.[/sarcasm] So we're going to be OK here.

"We're going to be OK here" has kind of been the theme of everything I've been saying this offseason. So that stays.

FL speedster Nu'Keese Richardson chooses UF over SCar, UM, UGA & USC.
Meh. I think we're about nearing our quota of fast wide receiver/running back types. Richardson's supposed to be good and all but how many can we really sign?

If brutus2002 wants someone to give him a "severe blow" to talk about, Xavier Nixon's the guy. Not in the top 9 or 10 he listed, and I don't believe he's even taken the visits to U-M and Notre Dame that he mentioned. Wonder what happened in between then and now. Maybe he wanted to stay down south.

You'd think so, but it seems like every few days a new slot offer goes out... ie Bryan Underwood. Even the flying V formation needed some big uglies.

True, the espn link wasn't working (for me) yesterday on that, or I would've posted that as well.

Freeman seems to be the only OL beef in the 'chalk' right now, and he's not going to contribute right away imo. Lots of potential, but lots of work to get there. A bit of a project.

We did get six OL commits last year, which is a lot even if they're definitely not all starter material. RR pulled a Ricky Barnum commit out of nowhere, and it's May, so there's a lot of time. And there's still Campbell, though RR is going to have to recruit him basically as though he's never verbaled anywhere.

Recruit the daylights out of Bullard, I guess. There are a number of other names on the table with varying degrees of interest and evaluations: Fantuzzi, Benyard, Watt, Martin to name a few. There should be 18 O-lineman coming in to fall camp this year, and none are in their last year of eligibility, so there isn't a pressing need for quantity.

Spartanburg Junior Lands First Offer

By Phil Kornblut
Michigan has made a verbal offer to junior ATH Cornelius Jones (6-3 185) of Spartanburg according to his coach Freddie Brown. "Nobody knows about him," Bown said. "He's very fast. I sent a tape to them and and they offered off the tape. I've also sent a copy of the tape to USC and Clemson. He can fly." Brown didn't play football last season for the Vikings. He'll be used a quarterback this fall.

Spartanburg quarterback Jones gets offer from Michigan | GoUpstate.com | Spartanburg, S.C.

Conelius Jones hasn?t played a down for the Spartanburg Vikings varsity football team yet, but Michigan has seen enough to offer him a scholarship.

Once again, Rich Rod shows that he's smarter than everyone else.

If you had to pick a QB, would you pick one that's big (taller than 6'-3") or one that's fast? Maybe he so fast he can throw himself a pass on a slant and pretend he's also a wide receiver.
