Bitter are we?
Over Holloman? Not particularly. How often do you see a guy from North Carolina hold offers from every school that matters down south, and come up north anyway? It's rare. I just think it's funny....the last time brutus there called a recruiting loss a "huge blow" for Michigan, it was a Mallett-style quarterback that the new coaching staff was no longer actually recruiting. What's next, us losing out on Manti Teo? Nick Perry to USC - that counted as a blow. A North Carolinian committing to Clemson? Oh well.

^nah losing out on the #2 safety in the country should make Michigan fans feel great:roll2: Michigan has lost out on what...6 of the top 10 players in the state of Michigan. You guys keep losing out on your top players. Heres the good news maybe you guys can steal a kid from Purdue late in the process again...maybe that will make you guys feel better.

James Jackson hurts because its another blazing fast athlete we can surround Pryor with in 2009. Jamaal Berry will be the icing on the cake. When we get William Gholston next year that will be another stud we have stolen thats a top not`ch player.

Another stud....that's not a top notch player....I don't get it

I guess we should be worried. Out of the Rivals 250, 246 of them have not committed to Michigan. OH NOES!!!!

Oh Hell no Michigan fan...Your supposed to be the almighty OOS recruitng machine. Leave the fucking excuses at the door. The next best safety prospect you guys have is from MS if I'm not mistaken...good luck with that. You guys talk shit all day about RR but hes getting his ass tore up in recruiting. Newsome is the only player I would call a major victory and that recruitment is far from being over. OOS recruiting is all you have since you cannot land anybody in your home states top 10 anymore. Clemson IMO isn't the whos who of CFB anyways. RR better get on his horse on the defensive side of the ball.

BTW we got Sabino and Brewster from florida last year and they had offers from everybody thats somebody in the south...but then again we are not the OOS recruiting machine Michigan is:!

Well out of the top 250 13 have committed to OSU and 8-9(depending who you talk to) of the top 100. I'd be worried...I'd be very worried. Getting all of this talent surrounding Pryor is scary. Add the fact we are recruiting linemen better than ever. This year will be 5 in a row against you guys...nice

I meant left on the board. IIRC you got another DB from youngstown...Bell if I'm not mistaken. Hey I heard the #1 jersey went to Cissoko...I bet Brandon Harrison is releived that theres finally someone on the team he can look straight in the eyes except for back-up kickers.

Hey go to scout and look at our class. Its actually scary. I hope those Ohio boys like losing to OSU for awhile. I heard Indiana and Purdue were nervous they might lose some commits to you guys late in the process.

Good luck with your recruiting class. I looked at the top 15 or so prospects and noticed that at least 10-12 were pipedreams at this point. I heard RR was gonna snag that #1 jersey from cissoko and give it to another true freshmen next year...so much for decades of tradition. Somebody sold their soul:!

I'll take enormous spin for $100. Holloman was being painted as a pretty promising target for UM with Clemson looming. Did you follow his recruitment, or are you just making assumptions and then blasting posters from that foundation?

Sounds like a defeated attitude to me.

Anyway you look at it, losing a guy as fast and athletic as JJ from your own backyard is a blow. Losing out on so much m*ch*g*n talent is a blow. DickRod will get his recruits, no doubt about that, but the big dream of the calibre of recruits he can pull in at UM is just that so far...a dream. Lots of time left obviously, but his impact has not been anything more than lllllloyd's was thus far, except more home-state kids are looking elsewhere. That's a pitfall of having a coach that recruits kids that fit his system instead of molding his system around the kids he can get.
