Hall was on Gonzalez/Ginn, Trent was on whichever of the two Hall didn't have...Not like I said Robiskie sucked, I just said he wasn't a first rounder..
Okay..

At around 2:07, Robiskie makes a catch with Leon Hall on his tail.

Or, at around the 3:40 mark to see the play I'm talking about, where Robo just flips Hall over his shoulder, completely owning him in the process.

I know this is the TSUN / Recruiting thread - but why don't we let the catch itself speak volumes.

Thought this was relevant here, with the Pryor reference.

Lukewarm on Rodriguez? Desmond Howard sad U-M didn't hire a Michigan Man
January 27, 2008 BY JON MACHOTA FREE PRESS SPECIAL WRITER

Michigan's hiring of Rich Rodriguez as football has not sat well with some alumni who would have liked the Wolverines to hire a "Michigan Man."
Former Wolverine and Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard is one of them.

When asked whether he thought the Rodriguez hire was a good move, he said Saturday, "Well I think only time will tell if it was a good hire. The saddest part of the whole situation is that a Michigan Man never got offered the job. That doesn't sit well with any former players.

"At this point, he has no choice but to be successful. Everyone wants to see what happens. Especially after you saw a Michigan Man (Les Miles) beat (Jim) Tressel, who has pretty much owned Michigan the past (four years). And you saw a Michigan Man beat him handily in a national championship game."

...Cont'd
Proof reading opening line: optional :p
Howard also didn't agree with his "GameDay" mates about their comments that Michigan will be successful if it lands quarterback Terrelle Pryor, the No. 1 recruit in the nation, who is uncommitted.

"Kirk Herbstreit and (Lee) Corso also said that if they get that kid from Pennsylvania (Pryor), that they'll win big games next year," Howard said. "And my response to that is the same thing everybody said about Charlie Weis getting (Jimmy) Clausen. And what did it do for him last season?"

Uh, it was against Minnesota. Real fucking hard, dipshit. Must be hard to be so e-tough like yourself.

Sniper, your posts are generally spot on, but I don't see what the team he was playing against has to do with that catch? The acrobatic way he made the play is why it's amazing. If that were a high school defender it'd still be an amazing catch.

Seriously, stopping diggin yourself a hole, and admit that Robo v. Trent is a mismatch for UM. I know, it's like an Ohio State fan having to admit that David Boston is a wierdo... but you'll cleanse yourself.

Sure it was a nice catch, but Mili's trying to make it seem like it's the greatest catch ever.

And I'm not losing my composure. I just find it pretty dumb that Mili tries to be such an e-badass.

Robiskie vs. Trent is a mismatch, but sorry I don't think Robiskie is that good. Trent is a mediocre corner, Robiskie a slightly average WR. You guys make it sound as if he's some god out there, and to me, he isn't. You should probably get 1,000 yards in a season to be considered an elite WR, but hey that's just my opinion.

Oh whoops that wasn't solicited. Sorry MiliBuckeye

By nature, doesn't that make it a mismatch? Unless "mediocre" = "slightly average" (assuming you mean slightly above average).

As far as the 1,000 yard portion. Ohio State isn't known for producing that type of reciever (in terms of yardage often). For example Joey Galloway never got 1000. Michael Jenkins got 1000 and the next year didn't, does that mean he isn't "elite" anymore.

.....and that doesn't take into account that Robiskie was nicked up the 2nd half of the year. Right around the time his production dropped off. Interesting.....

While I am not in the mood to debate I would like to point our that our quarterback position has been a huge question this year, Boeckman can throw a nice long ball but once he gets rattled he's done, and he's done for a few games til he gets his rhythm back. If you don't understand a problem at the quarterback then go to Henne being hurt, does that mean tsuns WR's that they have relied on for the last 3 years are horrible? or does that mean you had a big question at quarterback?

Besides, no offense, but your opinion of Robo doesn't really mean shit, it's the opinions of the scouts and opposing teams that matter. Let's face it, we can sit here and say XXX is a horrible fucking player, but we're not NFL scouts and on a last note, he is on your rivals team, I know I can't give Manningham an unbiased view, other than he would look better in different colors.

So I'll take your opinion for what it is, an opinion.
