2007 tOSU Football Season Discussion (merged)

Couldnt agree more with those top 5 rankings. I think USC and LSU will earn their respected spots in the NC game, but of course tOSU will be in contention for the spot again, though they will be a somewhat young team next year. But a BCS bowl game will definitely be within our grasp, and it seems like its ours to loose. Looking forward to next year.

Sorry I didn't use proper punctuation for you professor i didn't realize that this was english (oops English class) and I think that if the passing game isn't very sharp that he may get up to 25-30 carries a game Clarett had 1100 some yards as a fresman and didnt play in like 4 games and when he did play he played hurt so I can see it happening LJ did it, yes it was his senior year but Beanie reminds me of him only he hits the hole quicker

You can use multiple sentences on here....

well IMO I think we are a top 5 team, but only because of our schedule. If we played tough games week in and week out then I'd say NO. Our Tough games as people listed are PSU/Wisconsin/Michigan, and I believe we atleast pull 1-2 wins out of that trio. We have a good defense coming back, a great o-line, a bruiser at tailback, good recievers, and promising talents. The only true question we have is WHO is going to be the QB for our team. I mean we do have other questions (Saftey, DT, etc..) but we've atleast seen players perform, and perform well at those positions. If the QB just doesn't mess up and just plays within himself I think we should be OK.

Sorry if this has already been posted.

Buck up, Buckeyes, your team will be just fine
January 31, 2007

Take heart Ohio State fans. While the last month or so has been rough, things are still fine in Columbus.
The panic started with the Buckeyes' loss to Florida in the national title game. It has continued after some heavy recruiting losses over the last few weeks. But an OSU meltdown is like Carmen Electra pining away for some loser on a Taco Bell commercial ... it's ridiculous.

I don't think at the beginning of the season we will be ranked high, but if we find a QB that can manage the game and get the ball to playmakers, with our schedule and the fuel these guys are going to have in their stomach after that trouncing they took, I don't see any reason why a BCS bowl/Championship season isnt possible...
