I haven't seen anything posted on here about Illinois (maybe I didn't go back far enough). But does this raise eyebrows?!?!?!? 4 wins in 2 years and has anyone been to Champaign, not exactly southern Caifornia.
Zook's talent won a national title this year (Remind Florida fans of that). Recruiting hasn't been his problem.

Oh Jesus, it wasn't a "sky is falling" post about Ohio State recruiting. It was a statement about how much talent USC is bringing in.

I, for one, give kudos to Pete Carroll for his prowess on the trail.

Piqua sprinter Saine tops speedy OSU class

Four of 15 players who signed to play football for Tressel ranked in top 100.

COLUMBUS ? Ohio State coach Jim Tressel faced some tough good-byes when perhaps his three fastest juniors opted for the NFL draft ? as 18 scholarship seniors were going out the door, too ? but he picked up the one commodity on the recruiting trail he needed to lessen the sting.
"When you're losing some of the speed we're losing, you want to replace it with speed," he said, "and we've got an extraordinary amount of speed with this class."

"If you were to rank Ohio State's class strictly on individual player quality, it would most definitely be a top-10 class."

Buckeye recruits look impressive

COLUMBUS ? Ohio State had to out-recruit a few major powers to land Piqua running back Brandon Saine. And once he suits up for the team this fall, the jostling for his services may begin again.
Both running backs coach Dick Tressel and receivers coach Darrell Hazell would love to see Ohio's Mr. Football competing for playing time at their positions. Saine was expected to become a wide-out because of the Buckeyes' depth at tailback, but that was before junior Antonio Pittman bolted for the pros.
