2007 NFL Draft (Projections/Mock Drafts/Evaluations/Draft)

Yeah $$$, and Finnerann will be coming back after his year off to injury...

Also might look to draft a WR later in the draft, b/c at this point it Adam Jennings hasnt shown much at all, looking for a guy to take over for Rossum as the return specialist...

If they do look for a WR a little bit later in the daft (like 2nd ish) then Sydney Rice wouldn't be a bad pick. He was projected to be a late first, but dropped to a early to mid second. If Rice is still there for the Falcons in the second round, i see no reason why they shouldnt draft him. He could be a steal.

Not so sure there. A lot of reports I've read think he could really be something, although I've read a few that aren't so big on him. He should go in the first.

From a lot of what I have read on him many think he will go late 1st early 2nd.

Maybe I am a total homer w/ no perspective but they were touting Brian Leonard w/out mention of Antonio??? Am I just crazy or what is going on at NFL network?????? I mean this cat is from Rutgers right how does he get respect over AP????

Mike Mayock only had him as the 7th highest rated runningback. I guess the NFL Network just isn't high on him. Maybe Rich Eisen had something to do with it.

Leonard is gold in the WCO. Soft hands and quick feet. Hes a matchup problem if hes covered one on one. Think of a Larry Centers type player.

Leonard is a very good sleeper RB, can catch out of the backfield, can run, picks up his blocks, will play anywhere for the team -- very unselfish and great attitude. There are a lot of reasons to be high on Leonard.
The feeling I get from ESPiN and NFLN and elsewhere about Pittman is that it's almost like he's lower on the radar because he's from a big-name program and, while his stats were great, he wasn't the headline player.
These tv stations and such seem to dwell on big-name prospects (BQ, Jamarcus, CJ, DJ, Ginn, etc.) and sleepers. In the end, I think Antonio and Brian could both be steals in the bottom of the 2nd/3rd.

There are some that have Quinn going to the Phins at #9 but most I've seen have Branch or Okoye here. I seen one that had Landry and a couple with Gaines Adams in this spot. My favorite play here would be to trade down to around 16-18 and maybe pick up a second round pick. Very few players in this position could help immediately for Miami on defense. I wouldn't mind trying to pick up a Nelson or Landry if they're still around there. I'm really hoping they make a push for Thomas in free agency to get rid of Spragan.

I'm sorry but I really think you need guys need a quarterback. Joey Harrington cant do it anymore, from what we have seen, and I dont know what happened to Culpepper, but I really think Brady Quinn would be a good fit for the Phins. IMO

I still don't undestand why everyone wants their team to move down? You are likely to lose your pick if you are wanting an established player and if you just want to swap spots, you are only likely to get another pick.

It seems to me the Fightin' Fins need to get younger on D. Adams or the like would seem to be a good fit from an outsiders view.
