2007 NBA Finals - Cavs v Spurs

Hate to say it believe me...but the state of Ohio has a jinx on it this year with Championship games. Can't wait till this year is over to get rid of the damn jinx.

A jinx implies the better team did not win or was the victim of bad luck. Hard to argue that's the case in any of those situations.

Not blaming the loss on the refs. We didnt deserve to win that game anyway.

But even the announcers acknowledged that was a foul at the end.

True and I saw the foul too. Not the first one a ref hasn't called though.
The Cavs need to be better is all I'm saying.
The Cavs need a Ginobli, and A Horry etc and a Parker.
The spurs weren't to great either. I can remember when Pro teams shot 45 -50 % or better in these games and played defense too.
This game sucked.

Is there a reason Lebron disappears from the game at times?
It would help if Mr. Potatohead would tell him to do that instead of just standing there with that constipated look on his face. I've layed off of Brown a bit because we did get to the finals, but he is in just waaaay over his head as a "head" coach. I don't even think he does any coaching at all during the game, and therein lies the problem. I hope management realizes that we need an offensive mind to augment Browns defensive mind, because this team has been lost offensively pretty much all year. We made it to the Finals in spite of Mike Brown.

I know a lot of people will be talking about Vera's shot, but I was talking to my brother on the phone during the play and he brought up a good point. He said that a lot of the players on the Cavs don't have the mindset that if Lebron passes the ball to them down the stretch that they should give it back to him because he hasn't yet shown the will to want to have the last shot all the time. I think it explains the drive.

The last shot that Lebron took was definetly a foul, but the Cavs played badly enough that they didn't deserve that win, in my opinion. This series isn't just a case of the Spurs being the better team--Cleveland has made bad decisions and has gotten beaten to numerous loose balls and rebounds.

Just like the Cryami fans said in 2002. :roll1:

You're comparing OSU fans to Miami fans now. Come on, even you have to know that's a stetch. It's not like he's claiming we were screwed out of a win like they have said. In fact, by saying the football team just didn't show up, he is stepping up and taking responsibility for his teams actions. Quite the opposite of what I've seen most Cryami fans do.

Some of you guys have been on this site long enough to know not to take the bait. Suckers!
Your right.

Also another thing about tonight's game where the hell did all the boobies go....or should I say Boobie. He was non-existant. I know he hasn't done anthing until these last few playoff series but I am still disappointed that he didn't do more to help out.
