The thing that comes to mind first, to answer your question, is that the respect for Rutgers has waned a bit since Thursday.

Another possibility could be that maybe a sizable portion of the voters just don't believe the Big East is really that good.

Take your pick I guess....

Am I the only one that remembers WVU losing to Louisville a couple weeks back? Also, Notre Dame is ranked way too high

No shit....

But thinking logically about it (I know it's the BCS and logic doesn't apply), Ohio State just had either it's weakest or 2nd weakest game while Rutgers had easily their toughest game to date.

It's a crock, but that's the BCS for you.

Somebody explain to me how it's fair that a team who lost to either the #1 or #2 team in the country (while being either #1 or #2) will end up behind a team that lost to an unranked team.

The BCS is awesome.
