2005-2006 Latest Men's Basketball Rankings (Currently #6)

Hell it is hard to even care about basketball polls, cause they dont mean shit - being that there is a tourny at the end to decide all
I don't know how true that is, especially in Ohio State's case. I think the higher they get ranked, the more people that might start going to these games. The game last night was pathetic...but if we crack the top 20, people might start to get interested...especially when we are playing other top 25 teams.

Polls are Polls. What matters is your RPI in college basketball. If the team continues to win, the place will be packed. Historically, early games have been a hard sell for Ohio State and that has not changed this year, but when the Big Ten rolls around, the crowds will be better.

People are interested in the program, the problem with the Schott, is obvioulsy the seating near the court, there are people there, but the students are spread out and we don't get that itimidating feeling we want to have.

Next year, good luck finding a ticket.

Its their long tradition of great basketball.:roll2:
what's funny is that I linked an article in the wake flamers thread (open discussion forum) where they were all admitting that they were not a powerhouse program. Oh how the tide has turned.

Some wondered if we would face wake in the future. Looks like they may be unworthy to face Matta in 06 and beyond (UNC is probably going to be our opponent in 06 according to KyleSLamb on BN).
