Why is it that in a game where nothing is at stake I can do well, however when I actually put money on games I get creamed...? I put some $$ on a few games this week and lost every single one of them!! What are the odds that I would do well in 59 picks over the last month and a half, yet a few games today I am wrong on all of them...????

Funny I guess... that is why I don't tend to bet on games (with the exception of "lunch bets" with buddies)...

I don't tend to bet on games either (might put money down on a couple games about every other season)... for whatever reason I tend to lose when I have money on them... I do tend to bet lunch (or beers) with friends and have done well (and if you lose you're out all of $10-$15)...

My wife doesn't mind if I lose the lunch bets, however she tends to get upset if I lose money... this time she didn't seem to take it too bad (prob. because it wasn't a lot of money, and we had a little pot of money set aside for the Sugar Bowl... now we can spend the Sugar Bowl money on something else... prob. use it for Christmas shopping...)
