Game Thread #2 tOSU at #3 Oregon, Sat. Oct. 12, 7:30 pm ET, NBC

For once Klatt makes some sense.

This Oregon defense gave up 220 yards to Boise. What will they do when a better OL, equally as good backs, a mobile QB with first pick WRs show up?

A Oregon fan tried to argue that “well he got most of his yards on 5 carries” what the fuck argument is that lol
Like Oregon did on us last time we played them?

I've honestly always really liked Klatt, really more than about any analyst as a whole. But that aside...I see your point but for whatever reason BSU seems to show up to play against Oregon. And Jeanty is the real deal and BSU's OL is pretty dang good. I'm not sure Oregon knew the fight they were about to get into.

All that said, of course I would take two backs on or about the same level as Jeanty, plus the rest of our offensive roster. I am most interested to see how our OL holds up against their front. Our OL looks lightyears ahead of previous years but despite the perception of Oregon being soft, their defense looks pretty dang good. I would like to think we wear them down in the trenches, but there may be some early struggles at the very least that shouldn't make us lose our hats is all I am saying.

I expect a tight one until the 4th quarter, but Bucks over the Ducks 35-24. Also, I am often wrong lol.

Can someone answer this question.

Where does Oregon have an advantage over Ohio State?

I think there’s really two big mismatches in this game.

1. OSU DL vs OU OL
2. OSU WR vs OU DB

They have 3 good WRs but we have 3 corners to neutralize them. I don’t think they have that. So I’m genuinely struggling to see any match up that favors Oregon. Most have pointed to their DL but our OL is playing well and our play calling I think wouldn’t put them in bad positions.

I think as long as OSU doesn’t turn the ball over and as long as our OL wins their share it’s not particularly close. I just don’t see the depth for Oregon to win this game (they can win but I just don’t see how they match up).
