Pass protection is the only thing that scares me. Fields holds the ball too long. Hope they are working on quick read slants and screens. Pound Dobbins and Teague. Quick hitters and a few shots down field and some qb draws. Talking heads only chirping about Buckeyes never playing an O like Clemson. Buckeyes have faced better or equal D's. Clemson has not played a team any where near Ohio States level at every aspect of the game. O, D and ST. If Fields can either get time in the pocket or make quick reads and let our receivers run for some YAC they are done. If quick read isnt there then he needs to take off and make them account for his legs. Dobbins will get his regardless and may make it a closer game if we cannot throw. Otherside is containing Lawrence, Etienne and being physical at LOS with their receivers and disrupt routes giving Chase and co. an extra second to hit Lawrence. I'm getting pumped for this one now its game week

It will be fascinating to see if a supremely talented team can play, essentially, 13 pre season games and then step right into playoff mode.

I don’t know that anyone has ever seen anything like this before.
2018 Clemson says yes but I read somewhere that the ACC is historically bad this year and significantly worse than last year. Almost AAC level of bad. We'll see how that shakes out.

I don't really even think we have shown "flaws". We were missing a huge piece to our secondary, Wade cannot be replaced easily at the level he plays. He is a future Pro. I totally expected a little bit of a let down in the B1G game vs Wisky. Three emotional plus physical contests in a row will do that to any team.

The only issue I have seen is that Chase has been slowed some the last three games. That gives Clemson a blue print. The other guys have to step up if Chase is going to get taken out by two and three guys.

UVA averaged 5.2 yards per play and put up 387 yards against Clemson
Season averages for UVA: 5.63 and 390

Has to be something there for Day and Company to work with..

Top to bottom I think the AAC is far superior in football than the ACC this year....the ACC has Clemson and.....what else? Sure, Clemson would probably beat everyone at the top of the AAC but are you going to take Virginia or Virginia Tech against any of Memphis/Cincy/Temple or UCF or Navy right now? The ACC was legitimately the worst Power 5 conference and certainly worse than the AAC....it was comparable to the C-USA or Mountain West this year quantitatively and without Clemson at the top, it's the Sun Belt with a TV contract.

That's not to say that Clemson doesn't have talent and is going to be a legit threat to Ohio State and whoever wins between LSU and Oklahoma. But there's nothing in their conference (and certainly not in their OOC games) that says they've faced a similarly talented team this year.

They're not going to be any kind of threat to the OU-LSU winner.
