I hope the house doesn't win. I don't want both (because I want Prince and we do NOT take all 3) and I certainly don't want to totally whiff.

Beyond that....you fellas duke it out. I hope one of you wins :biggrin:

Third post in thread. This is what I had been going by. Jermaine says he indeed has 3 to play 2. What I'm wondering is why is he going to play another year of JUCO ball this season rather than enrolling at the school of his choice in fall?

michael chung apparently clears up any confusion over whether eluemunor tried to commit or not. after watching eluemunor's video, i think he's a no-brainer, a top-tier talent that would be an immediate starter for a ravaged OL next year. take him AND mavety if possible, giving the younger guys another year or two to mature, which is essential to the "battles" in the proverbial trenches.

Despite Jermaine Eluemunor?s postponing his announcement last Friday and likely flip from UCLA to OSU, Eluemunor said he has received more negative talk from Florida State fans. It may have been due to some experts projecting Eluemunor to FSU and then Eluemunor?s communication that he will decide after his Arkansas visit without visiting FSU. You know how fans can feel slighted when their school is eliminated.

To illustrate how difficult covering recruiting can be, there were rumors that Eluemunor wanted to commit but the OSU staff asked him to hold off until they received word from Chad Mavety. Sources informed me that this rumor was not true and that OSU coaches wanted Eluemunor to commit right away but Eluemunor wanted to visit Arkansas before committing. Another source informed me that the coaches told Mavety that he is their number one guy. See why covering recruiting can be a headache?

To quote The Bank, "he has to sign with someone in December". There is no doubt he told the OSU staff he was in a few weeks ago. Just like he told the UCLA staff prior to that. And just like he probably told the Arkansas staff since then. A verbal from Jermaine means you're his favorite school for the time being.

If he does pick Arkansas on Friday, I think OSU's chances of landing Mavety only improve.

Whys that? The only city considered major out of his 3 finalists is LA. Columbus isn't exactly a sprawling metropolis in itself.
But yeah, fayetteville is pretty po dunk.

Columbus would be the 4th largest metropolitan region in the UK (behind only London, Manchester & Birmingham/West Midlands).

That being said it's not about the size of the metro area, it's the culture shock.

Doesn't Eric Clapton live in/near Columbus because the area reminds him of his hometown area in England?
