We learned that it doesn't matter who blocks for Hopewell junior running back Rushel Shell. He gained 173 yards on 19 carries in a 14-7 victory against a good Belle Vernon Area team. That does not include the 89 yards Shell had in returning the kickoff for a score following Belle Vernon's touchdown in the second quarter.
The preseason thinking was that Shell, who has already rushed for more than 4,000 yards in his career, might have some problems gaining ground because all of Hopewell's usual starting offensive linemen last season graduated. It appears that thinking was off a bit.
Rushel Shell finished with 318 yards on 34 attempts for Hopewell in the loss to Montour.

Ball already on board and Dunn may be on deck. I wouldn't worry. Chances are, two of the three end up in C-Bus and that is quite a haul...Roll Red Roll;1773354; said:How come Ohio State hasn't offered? This kid is a monster. I can't believe his team continues to lose though. It's mind boggling.
