'12 OH WR Dwayne Stanford (Oregon Verbal)

Can't blame the guy. Oregon is definitely an "it" school for receivers lately. Best of luck to him, I hope he makes Ohio proud out there! And maybe Dwayne and Adolphus will get their dream of playing on the same field in college some day soon!

I don't think this one will be over until the ink is dry...JMHO

With Chip Kelly paying for recruits and all, this one could get ugly before its over... with a new coach and limited 2012 schollies, my fear (if I was pulling for Stanford) would be that he might have just cost himself a Buckeye backup plan if he should need one... but, que sera, sera

I've got that feeling too. The way he answered the questions pertaining to Oregon wasn't said with 100% confidence. Even said he was leaning "pretty hard towards Ohio State" earlier this morning. I'd like to know whatever Kelly recently said to him that turned the tide for him in his recruitment.

What happens with Ohio State over the next month and a half could change a lot of recruits minds and it wouldn't suprise me if Stanford was one of them.

No matter what happens to you though, good luck to you Dwayne. Stay healthy and hungry.

Chip Kelly might get the axe sooner rather than later out there, so you may be right.

Like nevada says, it's not the ones you miss on...it's the ones you get that don't pan out that will kill you. How many times have we referenced the 2003 recruiting class and one that set this program back a few years (Dareus Hiley, Louis Irizarry, Ira Guilford, Sian Cotton, Brandon Maupin, Reggie Smith, Devin Jordan, Curt Lukens, Marcel Frost)?

Let Stanford go to Oregon...let McMullen go to Nebraska...let Kalia, Wormley, Strobel and Dunn go to Michigan...just let Ball, Washington, Lewis, Elflein, etc. reach their full potential while they are at OSU.

And believe me when I say 2013 is going to a great year recruiting-wise for OSU...

The one that I don't want to let go is McMullen. I want him here and I think he still may switch.
