Bollman is really slow playing this one. I imagine he wanted to see Senior-season film before deciding, and that makes sense. But I thought I remembered Bollman saying he'd have a decision for Alex in July, after the summer vacation for the coaching staff.

They don't need film. They saw him perfrom in camp. The issue is they need Tackles and Alex projects as a Guard.

Yes, thats an issue. My counter-point to that is, if he doesn't fit into the Buckeye equation, then why has it taken so long to decide on the offer? I get that we are after OTs but Bollman still vocalizes that maybe they'll offer or maybe they won't. So I ponder where the issue is. Slow playing as a back-up plan for Diamond or Davidson? I don't know. Alex seems talented.

By The Bank....Offered by Ohio State tonight & says it's the one he's been working for since the 5th grade. Didn't commit, but says he plans on visiting to see if it's the place for him. Says Coach Bollman sees him as an interior guy, but thinks he could end up playing tackle.
