'12 CO OL Alex Kozan (Auburn Signee)

That's the problem.

Kalis would have been ready to be the 3rd tackle his first year on campus.

Not sure Tommy Brown has the feet to play tackle.

I think our starting 5 for 2012 could be very good as all of Linsley, Hall, Mewhort, Norwell should get good playing time this year and Bobek should get mopup duty and he's a stud.

It's the 3rd tackle that is the problem right now and if someone like Carter could fill that void it would be great. A lot of people seem to be super high on Carter and think he can play tackle. Or it could be move Mewhort out to tackle and put someone like Carter into guard. Mewhort isn't a natural tackle but can play it.

IDK. Think we'll be fine. No reason to reach on projects but I'd like to get another good lineman this year. Taking projects makes no sense as they won't be ready to play in 2012 and you can get players in 2013 that could possible be ready before the 2012 projects.

Besides Peterson and Price there is also Evan Lisle and Steve Mathie in-state who are really good and could be candidates for offers. Peterson is a sure offer and think the other 2 probably are as well.

BG$--Kozan narrowing his list

Alex says he was supposed to get an answer about an offer from tOSU last week but is still waiting. He will narrow his list soon and has an official scheduled to Iowa.

If we lose this kid because we are dragging out feet, someone has some splainin to do.....If there is talent, in a position of major NEED, and they WANT TO BE A BUCKEYE!!! OFFER HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calm down. Ohio State doesn't need guards. If the staff doesn't offer clearly they feel that Kozan doesn't project as a tackle and therefore doesn't fill a major need.

Agreed. Also Kozan and Eiflen were both in camp and Eiflen was offered. They must feel good about a couple of tackles (Davidson/Dodson) or the fact that Carter, Brown and Underwood may be able to play.

Is he the kid that won OL MVP at the senior advanced camp yesterday?

If so, I'm hoping for an offer soon. Love that he grew up an OSU fan all the way out there in Colorado.

He was actually born and spent his early days Ohio. He is the kid who won the OL MVP and the fact we haven't offered yet is a crime. I know he moved to Wisconsin in 3rd grade and lived there till he moved to Colorado his freshman year. Apparently he still has a lot of good friends in WI and visits them in the summer. Sure hope they don't steal him...
