I wanna play.

"You wanna be shellacked every year by USC or win a national championship?" :osu:

I still think Neal can be a tremendous addition to the offensive side of the ball for Meyer. I hope he is very happy with his decision wherever he ends up.

It seems like speedy offensive playmakers are balking for Urban right now, and that doesn't make much sense to me. I hope Neal steps up after the staff meets with him again.

Yeah I'm really hoping to see Neal in this class...we just don't have that electric playmaker in the '12 class and Neal fits that bill nicely. Further, I don't really see that type of player on our roster currently (Hall is close but doesn't have the top end speed of Neal). Here is to going all out on Neal.

Yeah I agree. I really think Urban wants to get his hands on a guy from this class that he can work with and start molding and Neal certainly has potential to be that guy.

It is almost as if Urban's success with speedy offensive playmakers goes back before the memories of current High School Seniors. If it did not happen this year or last year, it is too long ago.

Not feeling good about this. Dad has a friend on the Arizona staff and dad is very influential in the decision making process. That doesn't seem positive for us.

And that is how it should be, (as long as the father isn't asking for $$$ and I don't think that is the case here). In my opinion, it is great to see a recruit's father participate (i.e. have a positive influence) in the recruiting process. We all want what is best for the student/athlete including his father, and sometimes it could mean selecting another school. However, hopefully they will decide on the best school, and it will be THE Ohio State Unuversity.

Even Urban is human.:) These guys, save Neal, never even had OSU on the radar. You can't close them all in two months.

couldn't Devin Smith or Philly Brown possibly suffice as a very speed gamebreaker for next year ? note: I realize they aren't as shifty as a Neal or Ginn type, but they sure are fast at the top end.

I agree, especially if they can run really good routes, but it would still be nice to land an athlete like Davonte. :)

Smith is going to be a great receiver and Philly Brown has speed to burn, but not nearly as shifty as Neal (and inconsistent hands). I think Neal could at the very least impact the return game right away.
