'11 FL DB Jabari Gorman (Florida Signee)

Need to be tactful about how I say this, but hopefully Jabari liked what he saw today. Not only an fun, blowout win that showed our players loose, dominant, and enjoying themselves, but also an opportunity based on depth, injuries, talent, and next years losses to come in as a freshman and have an honest chance to compete for time in the secondary.

Definitely hope he's able to make it up in November to watch us smack around that other Michigan team in a truly awesome 'Shoe environment

Gorman really seemed to be enjoying himself watching Carmen Ohio, and even did a hidden little 'o-hi-o' with his hands. That, plus no buckeye socks (like Harris:biggrin:), bodes well :)

edit: updated with pic:

I don't always shoot Carmen Ohio, and I packed up to head home without it. Then I spotted Jabari walking over to Carmen Ohio. After trying a few different angles but having folks walk up, I opted to just shoot what I could overhead with my camera phone.

As you can see he was enjoying the moment, and he even did a little hidden 'o-hi-o' to himself below the guy's sleeve in the foreground (I didn't upload that pic since it was blocked off).

Brandon (I think it was McGee actually, not Harris) wore buckeye socks on his visit to OSU. I photographed his socks, which became a running joke when he chose Miami.

Samuels rallies Pace to an upset victory - Miami Dade High Schools

BY BILL DALEY
Miami Herald Writer

After falling behind 13-0 in the second quarter and with its opponent driving for another touchdown, things looked bleak for Monsignor Pace.

But led by a monster effort from running back Anthon Samuels and its defense -- notably Jabari Gorman, who had two interceptions -- Pace came from behind to earn a 27-20 upset victory over Chaminade on Friday night in a key early season District 8-2B showdown at Pace High School.

Continued...

But then came the key play of the night, as Gorman made his first of two interceptions and returned it 72 yards to the Lions' 23.

Also returned a kick for a score...

Gorman Official Visit Postponed - Bucknuts.com

Posted by Bill Kurelic on Oct 05, 2010 at 10:14 am

Defensive back Jabari Gorman (Miami, Fla./Pace) was scheduled to make an official visit to Alabama this past weekend and be in the house as the Crimson Tide played the Florida Gators.

However, the visit did not happen.

"Alabama had to reschedule it," Gorman said. "They said it wouldn't be a good time to visit."

Gorman said the visit will now likely be the weekend of Nov. 26 when the Tide takes on Auburn.

Gorman has already made an official visit to Ohio State. In addition to Alabama, he also plans to make an official visit to Miami.
