Saying he doesn't have a leader seems to conflict with most other accounts, hopefully he is just being PC so as not to completely burn bridges with others he's been visiting.

:osu:
Maybe he just doesn't want to give it away before he takes some visits and may be the visit to Ohio State will seal the deal:)

Johnson says he?s in no hurry

Anthony Johnson of Chicago, a class of 2010 guard, visited Ohio State during the weekend and, although he acknowledged before the visit that he could make a commitment while on campus, he did not.

The visit ?went really good,? he said by text message Sunday. Asked whether he had committed or was thinking about committing, he replied, ?I?m being patient.?

Johnson has scholarship offers from Ohio State, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Marquette, Miami (Fla.), Notre Dame and Purdue and has visited all but Iowa and Miami.

Ohio State has one scholarship available now for the class of 2010 but more will open if any players in the classes of 2007 and ?08 _ notably B.J. Mullens, Evan Turner and William Buford _ leave before then.

Improving from No. 53 to 35 is 6-4 SG Anthony Johnson (Chicago/Whitney Young). One of the more complete players in the class, he possesses two important qualities. One, he can score with the long-range jumper or the drive to the basket. Two, he makes others better with his court vision and unselfish style of play. Johnson needs to work on getting stronger -- push-ups, dips and pull-ups would be a great start.

The coaches certainly no more, hopefully, about when he will commit but I am like you in that I would like to see a decision come a little bit earlier unless they have someone else in mind. Not always a good thing to have a guy make a decision after his junior year, depending upon how long after his junior year he makes that decision.
