'10 FL LB Jeff Luc (Florida State Signee - Transfer to Cincinnati)

Isn't this kid kind of a moot point, since he's more than likely not leaving the south? His top 4 are UF, FSU, LSU and UGA! We're mentioned as the other teams in ESPN, that doesnt look good, but oh well

If he comes up 9/12 with Joyner anything can happen. Let's hope Rodgers makes that trip as well.

I sure hope so, and I do agree that anything can happen, and I swear I'm not trying to be the guy that says we have no choice, but this kid leaving the south is gonna be VERY difficult for us! Far more difficult than any of the other FL boys we're recruiting

Treasure Coast's Jeff Luc isn't saying, but it sure seems like he's leaning toward the Florida Gators

LAKE BUENA VISTA - Port St. Lucie Treasure Coast linebacker Jeff Luc, the highest rated inside linebacker in the country by Rivals.com, wanted to spend all of the quality time he could in Gainesville on Friday as the Florida Gators hosted their annual Friday Night Lights camp for high school prospects.

So Luc, who was one of 64 players picked to play in the Champion Gridiron Kings tournament at Disney's Wide World of Sports, skipped out on the first day of the tourney to focus on the Gators.

"I just wanted to spend time with the coaches," said Luc on Saturday, when he returned to Orlando to help the Southeast team capture the title at the Gridiron Kings. " I wanted to see how they'll coach me. They wanted to know more about me. Urban got personal. He wanted to know ... how I was back in Miami."

And Luc, who is 6-foot-1, 230 pounds and runs a 4.67 40-yard dash, seemed impressed by his trip.

"I like the coaches and they got a winning program," Luc said.

But he still wasn't going to hedge on his decision process.

"Things are starting to clear up. Probably 10 or 12 schools," the coy Luc said. "The schools know who they are. I ain't gonna say who it is.

"The thing about me. I'm not too worried about committing, I'm just worried about graduating early and going where ever I try to go."

And how's that graduating early goal looking?

"I'm trying. Still not too sure yet," Luc added.
