I'd say that West Va's win in the Big East tourney ends tOSU's chances at a #1 seed. It cuold also keep tOSU out of Duke's region, since Duke and West Virginia are now probably going to be #1-#2 in the West, with the order switched if Duke loses tomorrow.

I'm now guessing that tOSU will be in the same region as Syracuse (South).

agreed, if osu wins but duke loses tomorrow, we should be the top 2-seed. the problem with that is that wvu would probably be the bottom 1-seed, and i don't see the committee putting osu and wvu in the same region (because of previous contest).

the way that i see it:

  • if osu wins and duke loses, we'll be in cuse's (third 1-seed) region in spite of actually being the top 2-seed on the s-curve (can't be in wvu's region). duke doesn't matter, though. osu would be in cuse's region regardless of duke's outcome.

  • if osu loses, then we'll be in kansas' region (because kansas state cannot be placed in kansas' region)

I think we're a two seed no matter what we do tomorrow, and I'm fine with it.

I'm more concerned with getting out of tomorrow unscathed than anything else.

sadly the dominoes falling the way they did in the BE means that WVU is probably a 2 seed in Buffalo. pray for me.....I'm probably not going to make it out of that weekend without getting into a couple fights and then getting thrown in jail.

Really don't want to be in the South with Kentucky. Their fans are rabid right now - and since they haven't had to spend much travel money the last couple of years, they've got plenty to make every game a home game.

Syracuse and Kansas would give us seriously problems as well because of their athleticism. I'd almost rather have the 3 seed in the bracket with WVU and Duke.

Is John Wall more hyped than Evan Turner?

Yes...

Is John Wall a better, more importantly player to his team?

Absolutely not...

Evan wins POY or my name is Nancy Kerrigan

Watch out for that Harding girl. She has it in for you.

Yes, ET is pretty much a shoo-in for NPOY at this point.

Miss State leads Kentucky by 5 with just over 2 minutes to play. Dogs and wives are on alert in the Bluegrass State. :paranoid:

Is Kentucky the Blue Grass state or the Blue Hair state? I've seen more women who are BB73's age group in the stands than anything else

Sad thing is, to a Calipari coached team, this is a non-factor game...

Nobody on that team REALLY wants the SEC tournament title, that would insinuate that they have some sort of passion...

I hope MSTATE hangs on, that'd be a big kick to the nads for that scumbag Wall...

(I'm not at all bitter about him choosing UK over Duke :wink2: )

Wall misses a 10 foot jumper, down 1 with 10 seconds left. Five thousand remote controls just shattered into pieces.

Is there some requirement to have 15 speeches per game about how Kentucky has all of the pieces (size, speed, depth) to win a title?

Miss st just refuses to go away, continuing to hang around.

Cousins got absolutely smoked today by varnado who didn't get breaks all game long. Talent and size might get you drafted, but he simply doesn't have the heart or tenacity of vernado (who weighs about as much as cousins' bicep).

Though to be fair, he does utilize a lot of it throwing temper tantrums.

Incredible 3 pt shooting all day by the bulldogs.
