I'm amazed by wall's talent, and might take him before Turner, but he simply isn't consistent enough to be the POY. Cousins is a lazy tree instead of the monster he could be.

What impresses me about Kentucky is not those two but the complimentary players. Patterson carries cousins most games with his effort and defense down low. The guy who missed the ft on purpose scored as much as wall and more consistently.

Great team but they are lucky there is no north Carolina or florida in this tourney. A veteran squad like that would make them pay for their tirades and lack of focus evident in each game.

No dude. Not cool.

Not to mention Duke got Bull[censored] calls all game. Little ticky tack fouls. They don't EVER call that crap in the B10. Ohio State would smash Duke. I hope we get the 2 seed in their region.
They call that "crap" everywhere...don't pretend like that doesn't happen in the B10 as well.

...and it's all a matter of how you watch a game...

...if you want Duke to lose, you see all the calls they get, if you want them to win, you see all the calls they don't get...

That's basketball...

...if anything teams like Duke, Kansas, UK, UNC, and the likes get reputation calls against them more than most teams, but that's another discussion...

As for thinking Ohio State would "smash" Duke, I'd be careful with that assessment. 1-3 they match up pretty evenly, though Evan is a huge over on Jon, but after the guards Duke out-rebounds, out-freethrows and out-hustles anyone on the Buckeye roster. They've got 5 "bigs" that would be starters on just about anyone's team. (not to mention 3 former "bigs" that transferred and ARE currently starters on other teams)

Ohio State still has some persuading to do to the committee to ensure they get one of the top 2 "2 seeds". If they beat Minnesota handily, you might get your wish...

I still think it'll be Duke/WVU in the West...and I'm pretty sure Ohio State won't get seeded way out there in Salt Lake City if they secure the second #2 seed.

Unless they fall apart the next 10 days I think Syracuse, Kentucky, Kansas and Duke get the one seeds while we get a two.

Duke is the lowest of those four, but they have more top 50 wins than any of them. They're also "Duke". If they win the ACC tourney we're not passing them.

A two seed would still be a great opportunity.

Digger was pretty blunt on the wrap up show, saying that the committee wants Duke in the final four and will put the weakest 2 and 3 seeds out West with them. If true, what a bunch of b.s. and just another reason to hate the Domers of college basketball.

CBS presents basketball well...but I don't like the people they have talk about it, even those affiliated with ESPN...

ESPN is about to release Joe Lunardi's bracket in about 10 minutes...he's usually about 99% right...so aside from the bubble teams, we'll get a pretty accurate assessment of what the final product is going to look like...
