Question for everyone wanting to play Florida... does that mean you are ROOTING for Florida to beat UCLA?
For the record, as I said in the Florida Rematch thread, I could care less who we play. Florida has the revenge factor from earlier this year (basketball loss, not the disaster in the desert), UCLA has a great basketball tradition.

My 1st bb post ... so go easy all you gurus. :tongue2:
Just a couple observations...
1. Best all round game I've seen us play this year.
2. I counted exactly TWO backdoor cuts by the hoyas that resulted in 2 points. KILLER defense by the Buckeyes. That was a HUGE part of
their offense that was just eliminated.
3. Lewis's shot was not falling today - for the first time in the tourny - but I think he was - again - perfect from the fline. 4 for 4 after taking
a wicked elbow in the eye.
4. Oden v Hibbert When they were head to head, I'd still take :osu: ur guy. When Greg Oden WANTS the rebound, it dun matter who's on the court. :)
5. As much as I would LOVE to see GO push around that CLOWN Noah, I just can't bring myself to root for the gators. Once again,
I am a Bruin fan tonight. (Note to you non-fb fans, I more or less
predicted the UCLA upset of USC which paved the way for fla to the
football NC game.

Couldn't agree more, best game I've seen them put together all year too. offense & defense
However, Lewis did miss a FT he was 7-8. I think he missed one in the first half.
I would take Oden any day of the week over Hibbert 13pts 9 rebs 1 steal 1 block in basically one half. His athleticism alone not to mention a few defensive rebounds late, he clearly wanted it more in the 2nd half.
Bottom line - we got the win and did it with our 7 footer sitting nearly the whole first half. These guys showed some real heart as they have all year and all tourney.
UCLA/UF doesn't matter this will be a great NC game.:osu:
