ATLANTA (AP) -- Ohio State showed it can win without Greg Oden. Georgetown was just lost without Roy Hibbert. With Hibbert and Oden both hampered by foul trouble, it was Mike Conley Jr. and the rest of the Buckeyes who carried Ohio State to its first national title game since 1962 with a 67-60 victory over Georgetown on Saturday night. Conley finished with 15 points, six assists and five rebounds, while Oden added 13 points -- all in the second half -- and eight rebounds.

Just a couple observations...
1. Best all round game I've seen us play this year.
2. I counted exactly TWO backdoor cuts by the hoyas that resulted in 2 points. KILLER defense by the Buckeyes. That was a HUGE part of
their offense that was just eliminated.
3. Lewis's shot was not falling today - for the first time in the tourny - but I think he was - again - perfect from the fline. 4 for 4 after taking
a wicked elbow in the eye.
4. Oden v Hibbert When they were head to head, I'd still take :osu: ur guy. When Greg Oden WANTS the rebound, it dun matter who's on the court. :)
5. As much as I would LOVE to see GO push around that CLOWN Noah, I just can't bring myself to root for the gators. Once again,
I am a Bruin fan tonight. (Note to you non-fb fans, I more or less
predicted the UCLA upset of USC which paved the way for fla to the
football NC game.
