and since we’re guests on a B1G board, i’ll also point out that it would be 8th in their conference.

One of the oldest and tiredest tropes on the internet. Scan the by-game stat results for an outlier that any reasonable statistician would discard and base your argument on it.

But in this case, even if you were to run with this fallacy and not get called on it, what does it buy you?

The team that gave up 400 to Ole Piss is the highest ranked rushing defense you've faced. As arguments go, that one is an Acme anvil and you're Wile E. Coyote.

he would give you this answer whether a Pit Bull literally ripped Clyde’s hammy off of his body, or someone slapped it with a little more vigor than expected but still didn’t leave a mark.
