I would think that Tressel would be able to change a mother's mind faster than a kid. Especially when the mom will want whats best for her kid in the end.

Yes, she has and she likes him very much. Her wanting her son to go to ND has more to do with the precieved 'prestige' of a solid Catholic education from Notre Dame...she is old school in that regard. Ben is a smart kid with a good family. If he picks OSU she would have no problem with it...
fyi...my source told me that Ben tried to remain neutral during the Fiesta Bowl this year...yet found himself rooting for the Buckeyes by the end of the game.

Well this is good news. From a standpoint of talent and keeping in-state talent, Martin is probably the top priority. Oglesby would be close, but anyways Martin is a very important recruit.

If he truly likes our staff better, then I hope he realizes that he needs to do what makes him happy. If that's playing for ND, then so be it. But if he really wants to be a Buckeye and his family and friends don't feel the same way, he needs to put his foot down and choose for himself.

From the sounds of the updates, it seems Martin's family really wants him to attend Notre Dame......sounds like it is going to be a battle for his services. Obviously, he is the #1 player on tOSU's board and lets hope JT and staff can continue their success at keeping Ohio kids at Ohio State.
Everytime I watch his film, I am just amazed at how much speed he has for a kid his size.....on film, you can really see that he has the potential to be special down the road.
