Brawndo's got electrolytes...
DJ will make an official weekend visit next weekend for the spring game. He received hiss letter from the university regarding the invite. I am guessing that tOSU would not have sent him an invite if they did not feel like he was going to pass admissions.
He is not officially in as a member of the '06 class yet, but it sure is looking positive.

If this comes to fruition, and it sounds very promising at this point, I have to commend this kid. He knew what he wanted and worked his tail off to get there even when it appeared the class was "closed". He could have just taken one of the decent offers he had and went about his normal business but instead he busted his tail and now he is on the verge of fulfilling his dream to don the S&G.

definately not a prima donna athlete.
I love getting the kids whose dream it is to be buckeyes. They don't get all pissy if they don't get an offer right away, and they work hard to fufill their dream without settling for less (i.e. a lesser school that will offer them without them having to bust their tail in the classroom, or earn the offer late in season)
I hope it works out for Darrell, he has shown great character in my opinion
