Recruiting veterans are accustomed to the rumors that abound as National Signing Day nears. It is as certain as a Michigan winning season that a story will surface somewhere that a Wolverine commitment is changing his mind. Such is the case with wide receiver Greg Mathews of Edgewater High School in Orlando, Fla. GoBlueWolverine.com spoke Tuesday with Mathews, who reaffirmed that he will sign with the Maize and Blue on Feb. 1.
Wide receiver Greg Mathews of Edgewater High School in Orlando, Fla., committed to Michigan after a long-awaited offer from the University of Miami failed to materialize. As such, recruiting fans felt the commitment wouldn't be honored come Signing Day on Feb. 1. Rumors have surface that, sure enough, the Parade All-American has been recently rumored to have backed off his Michigan pledge, and chosen Ohio State. "Yeah, I've heard that one too," Mathews said, laughing. "I'm going to Michigan, I'm solid. I just talked to Coach (Fred) Jackson today."
The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Mathews took and officia visit to OSU on Jan. 6. He has connections to the Buckeyes as his mom, Leisa, is an OSU grad, and his grandmother was an instructor. "When we went on he visit my mom showed up in all her Scarlet and Grey," Mrs. Mathews said. "I had to remind her that Greg was going to Michigan. She said she didn't care, she was still a Buckeye. It was cute."
Mathews will be visiting Florida State this weekend, and had some FSU visitors in his home. "Coach (Bobby) Bowden was here," Mathews said. "I told them I would visit before I committed to Michigan, and I wanted to keep to that."

From the FSU site...this article basically suggests that FSU is the only school that has a shot of stealing Greg from Michigan.
