I guess he meant another #1 jersey or something. The same number he promised to Mario?
Michigan is recruiting Jamar as a WR but is promising him he can play both waysbigsix0 said:I Mario plays WR and Jamar plays DB, they can wear the same number.
Note: U-M offers the No. 1 jersey to precious few recruits each year -- sometimes to only one, or at the most to a couple.

Agreed. Especially with our recognition and willingness to let players play both ways. Who was the last player that scUM allowed to play both ways - Woodson? That sure is a recent track record. I sure don't get the national love for scUM but it obviously exists. Maybe he doesnt like the depth chart here for WR - what is scUM's depth chart like at WR after Breaston and Avant besides Manningham?Cornerback6 said:IMO it would be extremely unfortunate if this kid didn't give us a serious look. Our DB production over the last decade is second to none and the sad thing is I'm sure someone (probably more than one) has already informed him of this.
Perhaps if Mo Wells makes a big splash, he can convince Jamar to come watch him play and rack up some yards in the 'Shoe. Who knows?
