All reports are saying Harvin and his teammate McDaniel choose the Gators today.

Urban Meyer is putting together a fine recruiting class, with Tebow, Hornsby, and now Harvin as the cornerstones of what could be dynamic offense in the future.

For what it is worth somebody at BN said that Duane Long said we are in better shape than most people think with their family situation and Ohio ties. I don't buy into this too much but anything is possible I suppose.

Interesting post on Bucknuts. If this guy is telling the truth then we may have more of a chance then we think, especially with his sister and him being so close...

A little insider info:
Hey fellow Bucknuts, I thought about posting this a while ago but decided that I should just wait, but now seems about the best time as any.
I had the pleasure of meeting David Ausberr's sister who lives right here in Columbus. I was attending a mutual friends dinner party the night of the Penn St. game. When the game started to come on the topic of conversation turned to obviously the OSU game. Keep in mind there was about 10-12 people there, all of them girls except myself and aother gentle man. I was suddenly suprised by all these girls attention to the game. I have never been around a bunch of women with such an interest in OSU football. That caught me off guard. Anyways there was one particular girl who was very much into the game. We both started talking about the game that was coming on and she mentioned that her brother was being recruited by OSU. At first I did not believe her and then figured her brother must be someone who plays in the Columbus City League. Curious, I asked her who her brother was and she said "David Ausberry". I was like what? Doesn't this guy live in Cali or something? She explained to me that they are both from Columbus, but they had both moved out to California as kids. She has moved back to C-BUS within the past 5 years or so. She told me she moved from Lemoore, Cali where her brother David still is in high school. She and her brother have a very close relationship. I was trippin at this point. I asked her where she thinks her brother will go play football and she told me then that it was between Georgia, USC, and OSU. You best believe I was trying to encourage her to tell her brother to come to tOSU. Fellow Bucknuts, this girl LOVES OSU. She mentioned that she went with David on his visit to osu and attended a football game at the shoe with him. She talked about how cool it was and meeting Tressel who she said was really nice. Although I dont know where Ausberry will end up for sure, based upon his sister and her girlfriends that were rooting for the Bucks while watching the PSU game, I say there is a VERY good chance this guy ends up a Buckeye. This guy has some major family roots here in C-Bus and they absolutely love OSU.

Will have to wait and see. Go Bucks!

Evidently Duane had known Mr Ausberry Sr for like 25 years and has been quiet about the relationship. Me thinks he knows more than he is leading on. Me also thinks if it was bad news he would have been tempering the Nuts on BN's enthusiasm.

There's me being Freud again...

I have heard about Duane knowing more than he is letting on about. Also someone on the BN's board said that Kurelic said that we have a great shot at Ausberry. I think he pulls out the USC hat as well despite all the talk.
