    2007 NBA Playoffs

I have to disagree with Charles and those saying that the rule is designed to keep players from throwing punches. Obviously if you throw a punch you will be suspended. The rule about leaving the bench area is designed to keep players from having the opportunity to throw a punch.

    All-NBA Team Announced...

I think the problem was that some people insist upon voting based upon position. I really don't see any reason why you can't have 5 guards on the first team if they are the five best players in the league. Lebron is easily one of the top five in the league no question about that. I also think...

    Nowitzki to be named MVP

Was Barkley a better player than Dirk? Yes. Did Barkley in 93 have a better season than Dirk did this year? Yes. Was there someone who was much more deserving that Barkley in 93? Yes, Jordan averaged 32.6 ppg 6.7 rpg and 5.5 apg to Barkley's 25 and 12. Was there someone who was much more...

    Nowitzki to be named MVP

My vote goes to Barkley in 93 over Jordan. If Jodan can't win three straight why should Nash. That was the classic case of "hey let's make sure everyone gets a trophy", even more so than this season.

    Lakers 06-07 Season Thread

Is Bynum EVER going to be as good as Kobe? So what if he's an all-star. There are plenty of all-stars sitting at home right now watching the playoffs. Kobe is a superstar, not just an all-star, and the Lakers have wasted away three years of Kobe's prime by trying to build for the future and...

    2007 NBA Playoffs

Boozer and the rest of Utah's bigs are quicker than guys like Diop and Dampier, so they can run the floor better and get to more loose balls. to Boozer Boozer played great, but I give the game MVP to Williams. Baron Davis may still be slowed by his hamstring, but he was finally...

    Is this legal?

Well you can't elicit any information on a disability in the absence of a bona fide occupational qualification certified in advance by the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. So... I think medical information could qualify as information concerning a disability. Which means it would have to be...

    Cavs 06-07 season thread

For whatever reason it seemed like the Wizards were winning the effort column every game, and that the only reason the Cavs won was because of their far far far superior talent level. Maybe the Wizards players were just giving the effort because they knew that this was a time they could show...

    Cavs 06-07 season thread

I hope the intesity level goes up a lot in the next series, or the Nets will offer a serious threat. On the other hand it was great to see Z have a great series. If he can dominate the paint it will go a along way to counter New Jeresy's edge in the backcourt.

I thought SSMB was listed as quarter 3 while Galaxy was quarter 4, but I could be wrong.

    PS3 to cost $600...

Not sure if you saw this, but FFXIII is no longer said to be a PS3 exclusive. This was on title that might have made me interested in purchasing a PS3. Aside from Nintendo, Square is by far the best developer in my opinion, and it's kind of a blow to Sony that this game is going to be made for...

Nintendo Wii $250 on November 19th.

It took me 20 hours to beat it. I think that's a fair amount of time for a platform style game. I don't really see the need to make the game much longer, because I'm not sure what more could have been done with it. At least there are other great games coming before Galaxy like SSMB for instance.

I don't have Blur, but I think Paper Mario is a great game. It's a little on the easy side though. I am on the second to last level and haven't died once yet, and I'm not a "hardcore" gamer at all. The puzzles are pretty simple too, but get tricky enough about half way through the game to...

Like this perhaps. Lawyer: So you say you saw the defendant on the night in question? Witness: Yes sir it was that man right there. Lawyer: Sir do you normally wear glasses? Witness: Well...yes... Lawyer: Were you wearing your glasses on the night in question? Witness: Well...no I had left...

Florida is just that good. Ohio State is strong...really strong. But Florida is just playing amazing. I am proud of the Buckeyes and the way they are playing...no shame in how this game is going...Go Bucks!!!

NCAA Tournament Round 3: Vanderbilt vs. Georgetown (-7.5)

maybe i'm drunk or maybe i'm biased because of financial interests but i thought it was questionable not obvious. i was only making the comparison because fans will always be upset by calls at the end of the game that can have a deciding influence on the ends of games especially in a one and...

NCAA Tournament Round 3: Vanderbilt vs. Georgetown (-7.5)

a lot of xavier fans think the refs blew the call at the end of their game, thinking that oden should have been called for an intentional foul.

NCAA Tournament Round 3: Vanderbilt vs. Georgetown (-7.5)

or maybe those teams are just better than the rest of the field this year. are you saying it's a conspiracy to get the better teams into the final weeks? or just a better job of selecting the teams? i think the committee always tries to get those teams the top seeds that are "deserving" the top...
