Hopefully OSU fans treat you guys well when you come to town. It being a night game brings a lot of drunks out though. I was just visiting my mom out in Evans, just south of you. Gorgeous part of the country. Except for the dead cow smell. :)

I'm right in the old part of GC so I only rarely pass through that area. It's just my impression from passing through and may be completely off base, but I would be just a bit squirrely being that close to Georgesville Rd. But I really, really have no idea if that's based in reality.

For some reason, I knew that your son was involved in basketball:) Keep me updated on his progress. I played a little basketball at a Division III college but I soon found out that academics were more important and I could not handle:( Best of luck.

I know you're a basketball nut like me so I thought I'd let you know that my son is trying to walk on at Old Dominion University this season. I'm not sure if he'll make it but I'm proud of him for the effort. He's already guaranteed a spot as a manager on the team as he wants to get into coaching but he's not quite ready to hang up his basketball shoes.
