I like poppy stuff too.. Paramore (wtf), Incubus.. Check out The Parlor Mob if you haven't already. They have a classic feel to them, but they're new.

I saw dredg with Coheed too. When they were at Newport on their tour with the Blood Brothers and mewithoutyou. Pretty much hated Blood Brothers and mewithoutyou though.

I listen to experimental/ambient/electronic prog stuff too. Stuff like older dredg, Codeseven, NIN.

I do have a song to recommend.. check out Vela, Together We Await the Storm by the band The Human Abstract. Has the most bad ass guitar riff of all time in it.

I have both Children of Bodom and Black Dahlia Murder albums.. Shadows Fall and In Flames are probably my two favorite metal bands other than Opeth though. I also listen to Meshuggah, Mastodon, and ISIS. Not really sure where they fit in. Haha

Opeth is all alone at the top. By far my favorite band. If you ever get the chance to see them live, do it. Best show I've ever seen.
