You need to get them to visit right after a soft commit. You can continue to recruit them until you are blue in the face, but I have only gotten guys to change their mind once they visit. If you used up your visit you might as well pack it in unless the school they soft committed to did not offer a scholarship (that happened to a couple of guys for me). Then continue to recruit them and you can get them in week one of the off season recruiting during the in home visit.
Don't make me feel bad sucker :pissed: Look Mat all of us do the SEC chant at our games. Woof, Nutria and I have all done it. Feel free to call the practice or custom a stupid tradition, but I'd appreciate it if you would not attribute that to us - the fans. That makes it a little personal with those of us who follow our school and conference traditions. No biggie, and you will never "get it", but with hundreds of thousands of people "getting it" who are fans of the respective SEC schools, it is safe to assume that not all of them are morons or stupid or baffoons.

So maybe it's just semantics, but - ya know.
Ugh, I will never go back to BWW in New Haven. Went there twice and both times they screwed up orders, were unprepared for the crowd and our food arrived cold. The last time we were there was for the 2008-2009 NCG. They didn't even know there was a big game that night.

Too bad your heading to DC. I know there's a Buckeye watch location somewhere near Annapolis. Good luck.
Yup, that was me. Unfortunately, the sports bar scene seems pretty lacking around these parts. I live in New Haven, so I've taken in games at the BW3s downtown. Having previously lived in Ohio and Florida, it is shocking to me how few people go out to watch the games on Saturdays here in Connecticut. I guess college football just isn't nearly as big in this region. Typically, I just watch the games at my buddy's house in New Haven. He has a huge flat screen with HD capacity, and is also from Ohio. I'm actually moving to Washington, DC before the start of the season, otherwise I would suggest we get together to watch some games. Good luck with your search!
You the dude that said you work in Milford? Do you know of any good game watch locations? I used to go to Bobby V's in Stamford when I lived in Norwalk, pretty good group there, but it's a hike from Milford.
