No kidding. I just think people are figuring if they come to terms with us losing, it will ease the pain in the event we do lose. They're just fooling themselves. A loss will hurt just as bad whether or not you know it's coming. I don't feel that way though. I'm not just trying to trick myself. I honestly think USC won't know what hit 'em, and I can tell you feel the same. Oh well, some people just weren't cut out for the big time.

Yeah...usually you can't wait to beat a team so you can go on BP and tell their fans, "I told you so." But in this one, it feels like I can't wait to beat USC, so I can go onto BP and tell OUR fans, "I told you so."

I agree 100%. For the first time since I registered, over three years now, BP is making me sad. I never thought BP'ers would be scared to face ANY team, but the fact is, some are. I just don't understand it.

All i'm saying is that we always play down before big games.

Last year we played poorly against Michigan State before our showdown with PSU...and then we played poorly against Illinios before our game with Michigan. We went on to play well in both the PSU and Michigan game. In 2006 we played horrible before the Michigan 1 vs 2 game. And then we kicked butt in that game. We let Garrett Wolfe rush for 171 yards and played down to a Northern Illinois team, before we went and kicked the crap out of Texas. In 2004 we played like crap and lost to Purdue before coming back and putting the smack down on a top 10 Michigan team. And obviously in 2002 we struggle with a bad Illinois team before going on to beat Michigan. We just don't play well before big games under Tressel. But then we go on and do play well the next week. This week won't be any different.
