Had some stretches today where they look like a top 25 team. Tenacious defense leading to breaks. Hitting 3s. Good passes. Athletes all over the floor. Def still a ton to work on. Tendency to get sloppy coupled with scoring droughts as usual. Gayle and Thornton are so much fun to watch though!
When Ewers reclassified, Day offered Penn Sate commit but life long Buckeye fan, Drew Allar. Day's pitch was even though McCord and Ewers were in the class class ahead of him, he would be developed at OSU and the best players play. Yurcich countered that OSU had a log jam at QB and that he could develop him just to achieve his potential.
Love this Battle kid, great offense and effort. Middleton is going to be a stud and we knew what we had with Thornton. Royal showed some good stuff. Gayle might be our best player. Key is adjusting to his new body, hope he didn't lose too much weight tbh. Overall result is around expectations right now but I liked a lot of the individual performances.
2026 linebacker Cam Thomas: “I feel like the Buckeyes were locked in and definitely wanted to show that they were the number one team in the country currently. They came out focused and made quick work of Michigan State. On my visit, I was able to catch up with coach Hartline, coach Knowles, coach Johnson, coach Laurinaitis and coach McGrath. They all asked about our current playoff run and how I felt about it. They seemed happy that I was back on campus for another visit. It was my first night game in The Shoe. The atmosphere was crazy, especially with the new uniforms. Seeing Marvin Harrison in person and witnessing his Heisman moment was pretty cool as well.”
