The Spring League (TSL)

The Spring League expanding to eight teams, six-week football schedule

The Spring League is planning a notable expansion in the coming weeks by adding two teams and two weeks to the structure the developmental football league used in 2020, CEO Brian Woods confirmed this week.
.
.
.
Woods said the league's eight teams will play a six-week schedule beginning May 6, using hub stadiums in Indianapolis and Houston. It has recruited several coaches with experience in the NFL, XFL, AAF or a combination, including Jerry Glanville, Kevin Gilbride and Mike Riley. Fox Sports is finalizing a full schedule of televised games, Woods said.

2021 NCAA Tournament, Brackets and games

They need to change the water supply or something up in Spokane. Few has quite a few good players but Baylor had the athletes who could also play the game. Made the Gonzaga players look like elementary school kids the first couple minutes of the game. I am beginning to wonder what is so great about Few. All of these NCAA appearances and no national championship and really not that many Final four appearances.

JMHO, In recent years Gonzaga has been a very good team; however, they are usually over rated due to their won/loss record*, i.e. this year they were undefeated up until the final game. They are the far superior team in a 2nd tier conference. Yeah, they did beat Iowa, Kansas, Auburn, West Virginia, and Virginia; but (other than Virginia who were no where close to their 2019 Championship team) none of these teams were the top team in their respective conferences this year, etc. I seriously doubt that Gonzaga could have gone undefeated in the B1G this year playing a 20 game conference schedule. They probably would have been a legitimate contender; but would likely have ended up with 2 to 4 conferences losses.

* Hell, before the championship game CBS Sports was hyping them as one of the greatest teams of all time regardless if they beat Baylor or not:

Gonzaga is a win away from undefeated immortality, but already deserves to be placed among the greatest teams

The 31-0 Zags are trying to become the first undefeated team since 1975-76 Indiana, but have already shown their greatness

Gonzaga does not need to beat Baylor to secure a highly perched place in college basketball history.

Championship games understandably carry considerable weight; they are the arbiters of a season. Yet: a single result should not overrun nor overshadow, in Gonzaga's case, an accumulation of 31 wins by an average of 22.4 points. These undefeated Bulldogs are storybook as is. The Jesuit school tucked away in Spokane, Washington, out of the West Coast Conference, a once-plucky outfit with the quirky-sounding name that always showed up in the bracket.

Anybody here understand the IRS?

The key confusion is caused when the states delay following suit on the filing date. Last year it took months for some states to follow the IRS deadline
because if your state doesn't move then, in essence, you need to do your federal so you can do your state.. thus state's deadline is your IRS deadline

Yeah, unfortunately timely coordination between the Feds and all 50 states on any changes/updates like this is usually nonexistent.

Fortunately (for me) Ohio has extended the date: On March 24, 2021, the Ohio Department of Taxation announced an extension of the state income tax filing due date deadline to May 17, 2021, to mirror the federal deadline.

Navy @ Army (West Point, NY) Dec 12, 2020

this game is one of my bucket list items.
hope i can make it happen one day

Same here. Ever since I was just a little Buckeye sprout I've wanted to go Army/Navy.

This year's game is at Giants Stadium... With my dad being a West Point grad, and me being a NY Giants season ticket holder- I may be able to get tickets if they have a presale for season ticket holders.

Kelvin Sampson (HC Houston Cougars)

In case you forgot about his past problems at Oklahoma and Indiana with some NCAA rules, here's a good story on Kelvin Sampson:

How Kelvin Sampson repaired his career at Houston and resurrected the Cougars, who are back in the Final Four

Kelvin Sampson was once believed to be gone from college basketball for good; now he's returned Houston to glory

#15 Oral Roberts vs #2 tOSU, Fri 3 ET on CBS

Well, I guess I'll finally come in and say something, that was a tough one to swallow and didn't think posting in here was probably a good idea given the mood I was in. After watching about every game this year, I really didn't think we would be a one and out team. I was concerned about our health and energy after a brutal B1G tournament, but thought we'd push through to win an ugly one. Frankly, I didn't even recognize that team out there, looked nothing like the rest of the season for the most part. The heat check for Duane was a harsh one and nobody else stepped up in his absence aside from Liddell. Having Young out hurt big time on a lot of the loose ball hustle plays that I didn't see us getting.

Not sure how I'm going to look back on this season. It was a really fun season and one that I think will help advance the program. But to end it on that note will be tough to ignore. In any event, thanks for the memories boys, we didn't lose on lack of effort. Just the perfect storm on an off day for Oral Roberts. On to the next season.
