I kinda see PSU’s point and do think OSU played it “safe” (that’s being nice).

There was little upside to OSU trying to win last night….if we send out our “A-squad” and get blitzed, if effectively crushes any chance in the Big 10 or NCAA championships. I don’t think you’re overcoming that mentally in the next few weeks. If we send out our “A-squad” and somehow miraculously win….it just gives PSU extra motivation going into Big 10’s and NCAA’s. I think Ryan played it strategically smart, which gives us the best chance going forward…

Now, many of our starters got to see their “backups” perform and maybe take a few nuggets of confidence from seeing where maybe they had some success or learned a bit watching real time versus being on the mat in a match they likely weren’t going to win.

I was bummed to see Davino, Bouzakis, and Feldman take losses. All those guys are capable of winning but will take near flawless performances. Fishback snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against Rocco….just gassed out, lost body control, and missed an easy opportunity to lock up in a front headlock and ride the last 15 seconds out. Unfortunately, I think Rocco learns a lot from that match and Fishback struggles to keep it close going forward.

Injuries to 3 of their top 6 players and the $22 million they spent was not money well spent. Most of these players do not fit Pope's coaching style he likes 3 point shooting and Kentucky only has a couple of guys that can shoot decent from 3 and none are lights out shooters like Koby Brea was last year. Kentucky was so bad on D last year despite having an elite offense Pope decided to get "athletes over shooting" and that result has been better D but not good for the offense as Kentucky ranks in the 30s in both on kenpom.

Florida despite having 6 losses is actually ranked by barttorvik as the #1 team in the nation in the past month over teams like Arizona, Michigan, Duke and UCONN. They struggled early in the year taking too many 3s as they are not a good 3 point shooting team but they have the best frontline in the country with 3 studs and have focused more on D lately and have just crushed everyone after an early season upset losses to Missouri and Auburn.

Florida will likely crush Kentucky as well as Kentucky is a round of 32 ceiling type team this year and with their closing schedule being 5 quad 1 games out of their last 7 which includes 2 games vs Florida, at Texas A&M, at Auburn and home vs Vandy they could end the season poorly and fall down to a 7/8 seed range.

Florida is -980 on the moneyline

I expect a double digit loss today for sure hope I am wrong.

Absolutely agreed on not sending out kids to risk further injury. As fans on both sides, we wanted to see match ups we didn't get to see (or Ohio State was too scared of avoiding to PSU fans). I know Cannon absolutely couldn't go and same for Stiles, so at that point you definitely aren't winning the dual with even one key guy out and are just risking further injury for what? Drawing the ire of PSU fans? Eff them, they'll complain no matter what and we will just take care of our own.

Can you click through and use your CC on the paypal site, but do so without signing up for paypal? (like bri above you) Naturally they'd like you to sign up, but it should also serve as a paypal credit card kiosk without requiring you to join.


- For me, I have the paypal app on my phone, so it defaults to that app. When using the Ko-fi link, I can't get to the guest checkout option via mobile.

Trying to set up a monthly payment. On the initial page, it says that I can pay with paypal, MC or Visa, but when I click to the next page, Paypal is my only option.

It was easy. I just went in and paid with a CC. No need to setup PayPal.
